Terms and conditions

Welcome to Circle Up! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our platform, applications, products, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using Circle Up, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account and use Circle Up. By using our platform, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that you have the authority to enter into these Terms.

Account Registration

You must create an account to access most features of Circle Up. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

  • Keep your login credentials secure.

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we suspect any fraudulent or unauthorized activity.

Circle Events and Community Standards

Circle Up enables users to create, promote, and participate in Circle events. You agree that:

  • You are responsible for the events you host or attend.

  • You will not create or participate in any event that promotes hate, violence, illegal activity, or discrimination.

  • You will respect the rights, privacy, and safety of other users.

  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including venue and permit requirements.

We reserve the right to remove any content or event that violates our community standards or Terms.

Fees and Payments

Circle Hosts/Organizers may charge fees for participation in their events. If you are an organizer:

  • You are responsible for setting and collecting ticket prices, refund policies, and taxes.

  • Circle Up may charge a platform or service fee for hosting your event.

  • If you are an attendee:

  • You agree to pay the event fee (if any) and understand that ticket purchases may be non-refundable, subject to the organizer’s policy.

Payment processing services may be provided by third-party vendors, and you agree to their terms when using their services.

User Content

You retain ownership of any content you post on Circle Up (e.g., event descriptions, images, or comments). However, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content for purposes of operating and promoting the platform.

You agree not to post or upload any content that:

  • Infringes on intellectual property rights.

  • Contains personal data of others without consent.

  • Is obscene, defamatory, or harmful.

Intellectual Property

Circle Up and its content (excluding user-generated content), including trademarks, logos, software, and design, are owned by or licensed to Circle Up and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding without prior written permission.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Circle Up provides its Services on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee that:

  • The platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

  • Circle Events will meet your expectations.

  • All users or organizers are reliable.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Circle Up shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or participation in any event.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Circle Up at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to our platform or community.

You may choose to delete your account at any time via dropping an email to hello@circleup.club.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top. Continued use of Circle Up after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Dispute Resolution

In case of any dispute, we encourage informal resolution by contacting us at [hello@circleup.app]. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the laws of Australian Jurisdiction, and exclusive venue shall be in the courts of Melbourne, Australia.
